Robin M. Yeldell is the Office of Cable Television (OCT) Director
of Operations. She has worked in the District of Columbia Government
for thirty years.
As Director of Operations for OCT, Ms. Yeldell is responsible for
matters directly supporting OCT's Programming and Regulatory Divisions,
including issues associated with the Agency's finances and human
resources, training and travel, vehicles and facilities management,
procurement and information technology support. Ms. Yeldell reports
directly to the Director.
Ms. Yeldell successfully led the relocation of OCT in Fiscal Year
2004. OCT relocated from its old location of 2217 14th Street, N.W.,
to its current location at 3007 Tilden St., N.W., Pod P, (Intelsat
Building). As Operations Director, Ms. Yeldell was in charge of
managing the agency's relocation, which included its facility build-out,
the actual office move and the procurement of goods and services
needed to complete such a move.
Ms. Yeldell is a native Washingtonian. She attended both District
of Columbia public and parochial schools. She received a Bachelor's
Degree in 1977 from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms Yeldell is
also a licensed notary for the District of Columbia.
In Fiscal Year 2006, Ms. Yeldell successfully completed Harvard
University's John F. Kennedy School of Government's Executive Program
for Senior Executives in State and Local Government.
Ms. Yeldell has served in various roles in the District of Columbia
Government during an illustrious thirty years of service. She started
her career at the Office of Criminal Justice Plans and Analysis
(OCJP&A). From there, she joined the team of the Office of the District
of Columbia Auditor (DCA) and served in that capacity until 1996,
when she advanced her career by moving to the Office of Financial
Operations and Systems (OFOS). She held several positions while
working at OFOS, the most rewarding being that of serving as Deputy
Director of Financial and Technical Services (FTS) within the Office
of Financial and Operations and Systems (OFOS).
