2. "Lauzon Legions Revolutionary Route Bridge Designation Act of 2007", Bill 17-0475. To designate the "P Street Bridge, N.W. bounded by P Street, N.W. and 23rd Street, N.W. as the Lauzon's Legions Revolutionary Route Bridge in Ward 2.

To amend Title 18, Chapter 23 of the DCMR to create infractions for failure to yield to pedestrians; to amend the Title 18, Chapter 26 of the DCMR to increase the civil infractions for failure to yield to pedestrians; to require the Department of Transportation to create and post special signs to alert motorists of these penalties; to create a Pedestrian Safety Fund to provide for pedestrian safety measures.

To establish a "performance parking" pilot program to manage the demand for curbside parking created by the new ballpark in such a manner as to protect neighborhood parking; encourage transit, walking and biking to, from, and within the performance parking pilot zone; promote retail patronage; and curtail undue congestion; and to enhance transportation choices for all citizens by directing a portion of parking revenues toward improvement of transit and other non-auto transportation infrastructure and service with the pilot zone.
