Mayor Fenty, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and others kick off a business improvement district (BID) for the Anacostia Waterfront. The BID area includes the new Nationals stadium, Forest City Washington’s The Yards and the new federal Department of Transportation headquarters, along with 9,000 new units of housing and at least three world-class waterfront parks.
